We continue our study on the book of Philippians entitled Joy in the Joint Journey. In Chapter 4, Paul contrasts two groups of people: enemies of the cross and citizens of heaven. Being reminded of our heavenly citizenship is impactful for both the Philippians and for us too! He then goes on to lay out the benefits and the responsibilities found in our citizenship -- peace and joy; gentleness and prayer.
