Welcome to our God Sightings page. We know that the Lord works in our world in ways that are amazing, awesome, and often unexpected. We want you to share first or second hand accounts of how you have seen and heard something that only God can do. We want the stories that you have experienced or heard from another person that you know. Please do not share stories from other media, we want to see how the Lord is working through our church family and our communities.
To share a story, please contact us through our Facebook page. Blessings.
Pastor Charles shares: On New Years Eve, 2019, I was going out to get a few items for the house. I stopped at a fast food restaurant to get something to eat just North of Westfield, IN. I noticed a couple with a whole lot of items surrounding them on the floor. They had a small child with them. After eating, my curiosity got the best of me and I asked them what they were doing with all of these items on the floor. They explained that they had been in Cincinnati, and was on their way back to Kalamazoo, Michigan. The father had been playing and leading music for a church function and they were on their way back home when they had a wreck that totaled their car on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis. They were waiting for family to come and help them get home. They were safe, in good spirits and it was truly a pleasure to get to talk with them. Baby Jack was fine and God truly protected them from what could have been disasterous. God bless that family and everyone who risks safety and being comfortable in order to share their gifts with others.
Pastor Charles shares: After the above incident on New Years Eve, 2019, I went to the grocery only to discover that my car battery had died. After trying to figure out what to do, I asked the man in the car parked opposite me if he had jumper cables, he did not. A woman several cars away came over and offered hers. So with the man's help, I was able to get the car going with a new battery. This might sound like a good story that many people experience, but I give God credit for putting people around me that had a willingness to help. God is good all the time...all the time, God is good.
What has He done for you?
